G'day.

Time for another big day at 782. Hope you are all doing well and staying cool with all this humidity. Remember that soon enough we'll be up to our noses in snow!

Strength

Clean & Jerks

Take 15 minutes to work solely on technique. Don't worry about crushing heavy weights. Leave that for the workout. Keep your form solid here and take in the feedback and learn from it. 

Conditioning

  • 5,4,3,2,1 Clean & Jerks
  • 100,200,300,400,500m Run

You start with 5 clean and jerks and then do a 100m run (McQuaid Sign), and then do 4 clean and jerks and run 200m and continue like that until you complete 1 clean and jerk and then to finish a 500m run. For the weight for the clean and jerk, if you are comfortable with this movement, build in weight each set. If you are new to this movement, pick a weight and work technique all the way through.
