Friday is here and we want you to grab your partner.
Time to work a few skills in to your day and set you up for the weekend.
We posted up a wonderful little blip on our Instagram page today. Check it out.
It displays a nice image on how to start your day. Not every day is going to be perfect and you are not always going to be able to practice the best habits, but the more you build this into your routine the easier will come on this hard days.
Wake up early
Do not look at your phone
Drink a lot of water
Write down your daily goals
Read or work on your skills
It looks like a simple post, easier said than done, but there good things in there for everyone that you can slide into your day at some point. For me I try to drink a full bottle of water as soon as I wake up and meditate just for 5 minutes. I need to stay off my phone more. I usually have my plan/goals written down from the night before and try to read at some point even if it is only for 10 minutes while my kids at Cardigan are doing their silent reading.
We will get you upside down here and get you moving on your hands no matter how you feel you look when you are doing this. There is a progression for everyone here.
We’ll also get you moving through a lunge and help you find stability in this position.
With a partner
200’ DB OH Walking Lunge
200’ Handstand Walk/12 Wall Walks
40 Deadlifts (225/155lbs) (185/125lbs) (135/95lbs)
40 Bar Facing Burpees
We’ll stagger start this workout with one group going through the lunges and handstand walking and then once they move over to the deads and burpees the second wave will get going. The goal is to move well the first round and then put your head to the grindstone on that second round, especially on the burpees.
