Great little weekend here on the Island!

If you are looking to get off Island next weekend come on over to Moncton to watch the DTown Throwdown and cheer on some of your athletes from 782. Promises to be a sweet little weekend all around. 

If you are competing this weekend, you know your body. Train accordingly and make sure you get the rest you need, but at the same time keep your body mobile to hit the WODs that day. 

Thank you for all the support this weekend as well out on the farm. Had a great turnout from CrossFit 782 on the farm and we raised a great amount of funds for a family that is need of it right now. Also had a kick ass day with my boy Jack going on hay rides, eating 'Za and burgers, testing out every antique tractor, and going for a quick nap. Beauty day. 

Strength

1 Strict Press + 4 Push Press

5 reps in total here, but the first rep may be the toughest. Keep your body as tight as possible as you move the bar overhead. For the next 4 reps try to string them together for speed. No extra dip. Build up in weight just above what you plan on using in the workout. 

Conditioning

12min AMRAP

  • 9 Push Press (135/95lbs) (115/75lbs) (75/55lbs)
  • 12 MB Cleans
  • 15 Lateral Hops over the Bar each side (30 total)

Straight up engine work here. Go hard.
