Is it almost the end of July?

O no! Keep on keepin' on and keep on enjoying this summer weather! 

Took a nice rest day today, but can't wait to get back at it tomorrow with you all. Also can't wait to catch up with you all on what went on this weekend at the CrossFit Games. That included quizzing up Krista, Gary, and Carol when they make it back here from the western part of the states! Excited to hear all the stories they will have!

The gym will be open from 10 to 12 tomorrow before lunch class!

Strength

8min EMOM

  • 0: 4 Front Squats (heavyish)
  • 1: 30sec Handstand Hold or 25ft Handstand Walk (or 30sec Handstand Walk Practice)

Little gymnastics work and some strength in our front squats. You will alternate between these two movements after warming up to the weight and the progression you plan on using with each movement. 

Conditionin

8min AMRAP

  • 8 Pistols or 20 Air Squats
  • 8 HSPU/Box Handstand Pushups

Another nice little couplet here with two similar movements from the EMOM. Pace yourself accordingly and work on the edges of your comfort zone with these two movements.
