Here we go with some lifting!

Great, great effort today. Can't wait to see how you all perform tomorrow. Change of pace after the big gymnastics WOD today. Keep the focus on for the workout and each rep. 

Strength

Snatch Drills

  • Jump & Land
  • Snatch Balance
  • Overhead Squats
  • Snatch Grip Deadlifts
  • Snatch Pulls

After the warmup we'll take a good 10-15 minutes to work on snatch drills that will build up to the main event. A lot of these drills will be done as a group and then we'll send you off on your way to work on them solo before what we have below. 

Conditioning

1 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 5 - 3 - 1

  • Snatch or Power Snatch

Start with a weight for your first rep and then add some weight for your second set of three reps and then again for your next set of five. Finally add some weight for your set of seven and then work your way down the ladder with the same weights. Plan your weights accordingly depending on what you want to finish with. 

For example: 105 - 95 - 85 - 75 - 85 - 95 - 105

If you can fully snatch all those reps do so.
