Hoping for some nice weather here to start us out this Saturday and give us the ability to get outside for some running!
Really looking forward to this workout tomorrow as it is always interesting to try new things in the gym and see what you are all capable of.
Handstand Holds - Handstand Walking
Hang Power Cleans - Technique & Efficiency
We'll take the first 20-30 minutes to get you upside down and feeling alright, all the while getting you through some barbell work.
- 5 Hang Power Cleans (165/110lbs) (135/95lbs) (95/65lbs)
- 18ft Handstand Walk - 6 squares OR full length bear crawl + 15sec Handstand Hold
- 200m Run (brick wall to fence and back in)
Go with a weight that you can go unbroken with the first round and probably can do for subsequent rounds in the work. Really looking forward to throwing this movement in a workout. Every 6 feet, two squares, there will be a marker for if you come down you will have to start behind that. If you don't have handstand walking before the workout you will do a full length bear crawl and then get upside down for 15 seconds. Use the run to recover before jumping back on the bar.
