Now onto a bit more technical work leading into this weekend. We are still looking for judges for MayDay Mania and for volunteers for all the work that needs to be done to make the show go as smoothly as possibly!
Muscle up Progressions & Thruster Practice
We have two very tough movements for this workout and we'll take the first half of class to make sure people are where they need to be for their progressions. If you have muscle ups you will work at getting more efficient with them and if you do not have muscle ups we'll move you through the movements to get stronger through your upper back.
5 rounds with a partner - both partners complete required reps of each movement, alternate movements
- 3 Muscle Ups or 6 Ring Rows/Pullups + 6 Ring Dips/Box Dips
- 6 Thrusters (135/95lbs) (115/75lbs) (75/55lbs)
- 150m Run or 200m Row
Partner A will do 3 muscle ups and then partner B will do 3 muscle ups, followed by partner A doing 6 thrusters and then partner B doing 6 thrusters. Finally partner A will do a 150m run and partner B will do their 150m run. You will do this for 5 rounds. Choose your order carefully.
