Hello everyone!!

What a crazy weekend of weather on the Island! And amazing work by everyone in the gym all weekend long! We had a beautiful little test of mental fortitude on Saturday in testing out a Maritime Mayhem WOD and we also had a nice little skill day on Sunday with some double unders and handstand walking. 

Time to begin another week and you may or may not like what we have in store for you tomorrow. I'm excited to test this out, but also a little scared! That is what a good workout should be!

Strength

Thrusters 

Working on power with light weight. Moving that bar fast and being efficient. 

Conditioning

21-15-9 (9min Time Cap)

  • Thrusters (95/65lbs) (75/45lbs) (55/35lbs)
  • Box Jumps (30''/24'') (24"/20") (20"/12")

Run to the brick wall and back before each round. Going to be a windy day, but it is suppose to rain the rest of the week so I want to get this workout in before that hits us. Dress warm before the run and if it's really bad outside we can do 8 shuttle runs inside. This would be a good workout to break into heats and have someone coach and push you along.
