We have a few little fun workouts in store for you this week as always. At the end of the week we have some events we hope you can attend. There is the paddle boarding from 6pm to 8pm Saturday night at Paddles PEI compliments of Luke & Colette. If you are free during the day I hope you can attend a fundraiser for Community Connections out in Kinkora. My father is putting on a antique tractor and car show to help this group that works with adults with disabilities. It is from 11 to 2. There will also be live entertainment and an auction there.
Back Squat 5min EMOM - 3reps
Every minute on the minute for 5 minutes you will complete 3 back squats at about 75% of your 1RM. The weight shouldn't be crazy heavy, but this structure should make it difficult for the last couple of minutes. Take the first 5-10 minutes to see what kind of weight you want to use for the EMOM.
- 5 squat cleans (135/95lbs) (95/65lbs) (75/55lbs)
- 7 HSPU
Take some as well to warm up these two movements before hitting the workout hard. This should test our core and our ability to string together technical movements under fatigue.
