Hi all!

If you are free today come check out the KidsSport Corporate Challenge at the Sport PEI building. The coaches from 782 have a team in to support KidsSport PEI and it should be a fun little event filled with obstacles and challenges. Here is the link to the event.

Strength

Snatch Progressions 

  1. Snatch High Pull + Power Snatch x 4sets - building up in weight (hang or ground)
  2. Power Snatch + Hang Power Snatch x 10 minutes to work up in weight

The first part is done primarily to work on that hip extension and moving fluidly into the pull with the elbows to generate as much power as possible to get the weight overhead. 

Conditioning

3 rounds

  • 6 Power Snatches 
  • 150m Run
  • 18 American KBS

The goal here is to work on our power snatch with a heavy weight. It should be done at a weight that needs to be done in single reps (after round 1) and you will need to pace the run and the kettlebell swings so that you are able to complete these three reps.
