Hiiiiii Everyone!

Nice work so far in the strength cycle. Everyone looks to be moving well and the weights are going up EASY!

Reminder that we we are a month away from the Island Expedition so get signed up ASAP so we can start making those heats for the race!

Strength

Strict Press x 5reps @ 75%; x 5reps @ 80%; ME reps @ 85%

Same as Monday and Wednesday in rep scheme. Keep your form as you go through that last set. it is easy to let that back bend to put the weight up, but keep everything tight through your core as your finish off those reps. 

Conditioning

Partner Chipper - Complete anyway possible in the following order

  • 400m run together
  • 40 OHS (115/75lbs) (95/65lbs) (75/55lbs)
  • 40 Pullups
  • 40 S2OH
  • 40 MB V-Ups 
  • 40 Thrusters

Again, not a crazy long workout even with a partner, but something you and your friend can push the pace at through the 5 exercises after the run. Break the reps up wisely to minimize transitions and keep the pace high.
