Another Tuesday.

Great work on our squats today. Time to do some work to complement that. 

Strength

  • Deadlift x 3reps x 5sets (75-80%)
  • Pushups x 3reps x 5sets

Alternating between these two movements you will work your way through five sets of each. Not working at a crazy heavy weight on your deadlifts work on a solid and speedy pull from the ground. Build up in weight on the weighted pushups if you have them. 

Conditioning

2min AMRAP x 3each - rest 1 min b/w amraps

2min AMRAP 1 

  • 4 Deadlifts (225/155lbs) (165/110lbs)
  • 8 Pushups 

2 min AMRAP 2

  • 4 Burpees over the bar
  • 8 Situps

As we stated after the open, once the month of June hits we will be working very diligently on our core strength. You saw some today and you will see some tomorrow. These movements should not make you too sore from day to day, but it something we all need to work on consistently. In the future you will see weekly core challenges posted in the gym.
