Pullups. Pullups. Pullups. 

Here we go. No better time than the present to get better at them. 

Just a reminder there will be no class at 5:30 tomorrow evening. The gym will be open from 3pm tomorrow if you want to come in earlier to work on any skills. Classes on Saturday will run as usual. 


Pullup Progressions

  • Dead Hang Strict Pullups x 3sets
  • Kipping Pulllups x 3sets

Before this we will work on progressions with a partner and working on a strength base to help improve our overall shoulder stability with the pullup. 


6min partner AMRAP x 2 - rest 3mins between amraps

  • AMRAP 1
  • 6 cal row
  • 6 pullups or ring rows


  • AMRAP 2
  • 6 hang power cleans (135/95lbs) (95/65lbs)
  • 6 box jumps

You will either start on amrap 1 or amrap 2 and complete as many rounds as possible during each amrap by alternating rounds with your partner. Partner 1 will do 1 round and then partner 2 will complete a round and you will move back and forth through the movements for the six minutes.
