Here is your CrossFit 782 update show.
We had an amazing turnout and an ever better class at our first yoga/mobility class at CrossFit 782. Charles Sanderson led the 20 person class through a serious of stretches and poses to improve their range of motion through the hips and shoulders. This class will continue for the next 4 weeks and if you are interested in checking it out talk to Charles, Mike or myself. The class is phenomenal for improving how you move your body through life and in the gym. Definitely worth the hour on Sunday morning.
Tomorrow we will also be starting the Paleo Challenge for a large group of members from CrossFit 782. The information has been sent off to these people and will be a part of the buzz around the gym for the next month. If you want to get involved, it's not too late. Back Squat x 5reps x 3sets @ 75%
We are slowly working our way through some back squats and getting our strength back up after the open conditioning period. Be solid throughout these 3 sets after a long warmup to get those hips ready for those squats.
3 - 6 - 9 - 12 - 9 - 6 - 3
- Goblet Squats (53/35lbs)
- Pullups or Ring Rows
- V- Ups
Three complementary movements in today's workout. This means you should be able to keep moving fluidly through the workout. Pace yourself accordingly going up the ladder and fly down the ladder at the end. Be as strict as you can on the v ups and move efficiently through the pullups. Choose a challenging weight for the goblet squats, but something you can do unbroken even during the round of 12.
