I've been working on this workout all day.

I mean ever since we decided to do a massive team workout on Monday it had to be something epic and it had to be something regional inspired as we are right in the middle of those. All day I have been trying to perfect the movements and rep schemes and I think I have it down just right for you all today.

Just a reminder that we have class at 10am tomorrow followed by feats of strength for a couple of hours afterwards.

Strength

Team Naming, Strategizing, and Transition Work.

Conditioning

In teams of four complete 3 rounds of the following, 2 people working at a time:

  • 30 Burpee High Fives
  • 30 Synchro Front Squats
  • 30 Synchro Pullups or Ring Rows
  • 30 Synchro S2OH
  • 200m Run All Together

In your team you will have two barbells. Comp weight is 115/75lbs and Rxed weight is 95/65lbs. The basic premise of this workout is that two people will be working together to complete half of the reps and the other two people will complete the other half of the reps. Partner A and Partner B will complete 15 burpee high fives and then Partner C and D will complete the other 15 burpee high fives. Then you will move on to the front squats. At the end of the round you will do a 200m run as a team. For the weights you want to be working with people who can share similar weights as you so you don't have to switch plates each time you transition from athlete to athlete. On the pullups and ring rows you can have one person doing pullups and the other doing ring rows if need be and they need to somewhat synchronized1! Most importantly and above all else, come up with a good team name for your squad.

That is all. I'm very excited for this.
