What a wonderful Wedneday it is. The sun was shining and you can slowly start to feel the snow melting, one centimetre by 1 centimetre. Get your running shoes ready because soon we'll be outside running our laps.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone, from the coaches to the athletes, for the hard work they put in this weekend. I have heard nothing but positive things and am very excited to be back in the gym as well to join you all with it. 

Strength

15mins to work on positioning

  • 3 Snatch Deadlifts + 1 Hang Snatch

Set up at the bottom of your snatch and focus on positioning through the entire movement. On the hang snatch move quickly through each pull, especially pulling yourself under the bar. 

Conditioning

10min - Every :30sec on the :30secs. (It doesn't sound as pretty as an EMOM, but here at CrossFit 782 we aren't all about looking good.)

  • 0:00 - 1 hang snatch 
  • 0:30 - 10 WBS

This will get tough quickly. Try to choose a weight and height to do the 10 WBS in :15secs and take the next few seconds to recover before hitting the snatch.
