It's my mom's birthday!!

Well now that I am over that past workout and ready for the next one this weekend, as I hope you all are, I just wanted to say thank you all for all this positive energy surrounding the open. The open can be a very dangerous thing for a lot of people and a lot of gyms, but you are all embracing it whole heartedly and pushing yourselves and others in the most positive way. People are not only posting up great scores, but adding a great element of passion to the gym in a friendly competitive nature. 

Strength

Back Squat x 10reps x 3sets

This should be done at a really light weight. I am talking about 50% of your one rep max or less for all three sets. We are looking for correct form and speed on each rep with no struggle at the bottom. A chance for us to loosen up after all those overhead squats. Set up a time for yourself. One set and then rest 90seconds and go from there. 

Conditioning

5 rounds for time

  • 15 WBS
  • 10 Back Rack Lunges (135/95lbs) (95/65lbs) (5 each leg)
  • 5 Burpees

If the back rack lunges don't feel comfortable or you don't feel comfortable putting the bar on your back do front rack lunges or take the bar from a rack. They are not walking lunges. For the other two movements just keep moving.
