The Open 15.1 - Saturday, February 28, 2015

Reminder that classes will run as scheduled on Saturday. 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am.

We will also have open gym from 3pm to 5pm with judges there to record your score. The classes in the morning will run as regular classes and the afternoon will run as open gym. Excited to see everyone already coming in and go hard with it. See everyone tomorrow.

Workout

9min AMRAP - Rxed

  • 15 T2B 
  • 10 Deadlifts (115/75lbs)
  • 5 Snatches (115/75)

9min AMRAP - Scaled/Masters

  • 15 Knee Tucks
  • 10 Deadlifts (85/65lbs)
  • 5 Snatches (85/65lbs)

9min AMRAP - Masters Scaled

  • 15 Situps
  • 10 Deadlifts (65/45lbs)
  • 5 Snatches (65/45lbs)

Directly after with a running clock...

6 mins to establish a 1 rep max Clean and Jerk 

We'll get a warmup and go through the standards and then hit the workout hard. Break the reps up quickly. I would recommend doing the T2B and Snatches in small sets right from the start to save your grip. Push at a steady pace until the end and then hit 1 clean and jerk you are comfortable with and build from there.
