Can't believe this week is the start of Christmas! Get in here amongst all that hustle and bustle outside and get your workouts in so you can enjoy those days with the family!

Reminder that we'll be having our 12 Days of Christmas Workout next Monday throughout the day, from the first morning to class until the evening. 

Strength

Snatch + 2 OHS

This can be any type of snatch you want to get the bar up overhead. A power snatch, a hang power snatch, a hang snatch, a snatch, even a muscle snatch. After you complete that snatch you want to 2 overhead squats. Build in some weight to get ready for the workout. 

Conditioning

21 - 15 - 9 

  • OHS (115/75lbs) (95/65lbs) (75/55lbs)
  • Lateral Burpees over the Bar

One of my favourite little couplets. If you don't feel comfortable doing this many overhead squats in a workout, get into front squats and just increase the weight you would use for those squats. I'd rather see 21 good front squats then a ton of overhead squats that don't feel right. Work on them in the strength if need be and then get your workout in with front squats. If you are going with overhead squats choose a weight that is challenging, but something you could try to do unbroken for each round.
