Pistols x 6-8 x 5 sets
A skill that tests flexibility and mobility more than anything, it is something we need to work on from time in case it ever shows up in a competition or in the open workouts. It is great for testing out your mobility and comparing the strength of one leg to the other.
Deadlifts - warmup to workout weight
Between the two of you complete the following reps and movements:
- 20 pistols
- 40 deadlifts (185/115lb)
- 60 front squats (95/65lb)
- 80 burpees
- 100 WBS
Some skill work, followed by some bar work, followed by some mind over matter work. Start off slow and work the pistols and deadlifts and be smart how you break up the front squats before you get into some hard work with the burpees and WBS.
